US ELECTIONS 2012: Could time be running out for Mitt Romney?

A series of high-profile missteps, along with the latest slew of polls, point to an undeniable reality of the presidential race at this stage: Romney is in a rut and he has just seven weeks to get out of it.

RE: World: US ELECTIONS 2012: Could time be running out for Mitt Romney?
I am SO hoping that Ron Paul proves to be a giant thorn in the side of the PTB -- I wouldn't be at all surprised if he got more votes than Romney, or maybe even Obamney, both of them! I started seeing Ron Paul signs around here (central Maine) several months ago, and he's quite popular in this area.
The Maine delegation to the RNC convention put up a nasty stink because they wanted their votes to go to Ron Paul, and even "Governor" LePage (a buffoonish cartoon of a governor who won by default on a 3-way) refused to go to the conven because of it.
Still, a President Paul would not be that great for the country (only in a certain few limited aspects, such as cannabis legalization), but how could he be worse than Obamney?
(Nevertheless, I'm still voting for Jill Stein.)

Ron Paul isn't on the ballot, is he? There is a different Libertarian candidate. I thought he was staying a Republican in order to benefit his hateful son.

wouldn't the baggers and others write him in?
Or maybe that libertarian will do well, sucking votes away from Romney.

Yes, they'll probably write him in.
