So this is where I've ended up, after four years on the Old Elm Tree? "Columnist Archives". Well, I'll take it.

Frankly, I feel like a human archive this morning, but I don't want to turn this into an "organ recital," as my late mother used to say.

"You know, my stomach is really out of whack, and they say my spleen is a mess. And my liver? Well, let's not talk about it." (You get my humorous drift...)

How many of you here recall me at the Democratic Underground? I caught a lot of heat there and was banned in July 2008. Joined the OET on August 1, 2008. Wave to Andrea and all the people who support this extraordinary effort.

Let's hope this country will survive another brutal election season. I'm involved with so many other pursuits this summer in a breathless rush to keep my 78 year old husband and myself in one piece... A new knee for Election Day for my husband might be my wish! (Just kiddin').
