Some pics of my flower gardens
The flowers are fantastic this year, maybe because of all the snow we had last winter or maybe because we're taking really good care of them.
Whatever the reason, I'm lovin' it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Spectacular - just went to a tour of hidden gardens in Keene, NH - your gardens would be a hit...just glorious!

How beautiful!
My columbines and bleeding hearts went by a while ago. With the columbines (which are in my Top 5 Favorite Flowers), especially, you've given me new inspiration to try to increase their numbers next year. |

RE: Some pics of my flower gardens
Nice. I have lots of pictures of flowers that I have taken over the years, many on 35 mm, but I don't have them around at present to scan and upload.

I love pictures of flowers. I think I come by it naturally because my dad had hundreds of slides of wildflowers that he took in Colorado when I was a kid. I can still remember him kneeling down with his light meter and positioning himself just right to get the effect he wanted. We used to kid him about it, but now I really appreciate what he was doing. http://www.northernvisions.smugmug.com |

RE: Some pics of my flower gardens
Oh what an inspiration this is for me, Blue. I am a bit heartsick with envy.
I have so many challenges - including the fact that our orange cat is in a "peeing" contest with the local bobcat. Both guys are now squirting pee on anything that stands upright. <sigh>Cat urine really kills things off and rather quickly too. Next year I hope I can afford to have an irrigation system set up that will detect motion and spritz anything moving around in the wee hours of the Am. And it will get the cats wet before they soak my flowers! "The further a society drifts from Truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." George Orwell |

The system is working wonderfully. Not a 100% maybe, but close. |
