Stars will shine in this year's NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder.

RE: Prediction time: Heat or Thunder? (NBA Finals)
This is a real bummer. I'm not an NBA fan (I love college basketball) but I usually watch the playoffs. Not this year. Being from Ohio, I must hate the heat. There is no alternative. There was a time I would have cheered for the Thunder because I had an aunt who lived in OK City. But not now. Oklahoma has been involved in too many insane things in the news lately, and Coburn has a lot to do with that. I just can't cheer for them either. I would love to see the Cavs make it again. The last time they did, LeBron decided to take it easy the night of the must win game, so they advanced no further. That guy is a real scumbag in my opinion. I also like the Celtics because there is so much history with that team and because I like their coach. But just to show you how uninterested I am in the NBA, I can't remember his name at the moment.

OKC is awesome, it was very exciting to watch them trounce the evil empire!

Can't root for either team.
Every team of whatever sport that comes from Florida is always overhyped and overrated. And as a former Sonics fan, I'm still pissed at Oklahoma for stealing our team. |

That's sounds like a raw deal, what happened to the Sonics. I don't recall hearing about it at the time. That Starbucks faux liberal/cretin was involved with that, no?
I certainly understand how, how any Seattle fan couldn't stomach watching OKC. They are a very exciting young group of players, IMO though, they have been my second favorite team for a couple of years now. Doesn't really matter that much to me. But I guess I hope Miami loses. LeBron, Wade & that whole fiasco pisses me off. I want to see someone break the mold in sports. and try loyalty. I know how it works though.
That being said, I'm just biding my time till Packer season. Go Pack Go!! (06-12-2012 08:24 PM)Bryn Wrote: Stars will shine in this year's NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder. |
