I love Tom Tomorrow.

I am finding that in spite of my worries and attempts to stay on top of these things, I never really thought I'd see the day when 6000 drones were licensed to fly around my country and my president would have a "death list" of people he planned to assassinate without benefit of due process. This is not my country. I do not want my nieces and nephews to live in a country that does such things. We have to fight this.

Here is the link to the Whitehouse.gov petition for Obama to have a Don Not Kill List, which we can all sign on to. Currently there are 1260 signatures. 25,000 are needed to ensure a response from the White House.

Create a Do Not Kill List

The New York Times reports that President Obama has created an official “kill list” that he uses to personally order the assassination of American citizens. Considering that the government already has a “Do Not Call” list and a “No Fly” list, we hereby request that the White House create a “Do Not Kill” list in which American citizens can sign up to avoid being put on the president’s “kill list” and therefore avoid being executed without indictment, judge, jury, trial or due process of law.

You know, the left is no longer the left. I was waiting to pick my son up from school yesterday and I had talk radio on. Norman Goldman was on, now I can't stand this guy anyway, he's from the Limbaugh/Schultz school of broadcasting, (the louder and dumber I sound the more right I must be) but he was going on about the Romney/Obama comparisons and he brought up the "kill list" and talked about it like it was this awesome thing Obama was doing. It was listed as a "plus" for Obama.

I really wonder how long we are going to be able to last with people like this supposedly representing the "left" the "sane" and the "progressive".
