If you're a poor woman, you'd better not live in Louisiana, because John LaBruzzo wants to make sure you never have children. The young lawmaker from Metairie seems to think that sterilizing poor women is a great way to control what he calls, "generational welfare."

If you don't think that's bad enough, his ingenious plan includes giving more tax incentives to "college-educated, higher-income people to have more children."


If you ever doubted that there was a "war on women", and the existence of class warfare, this proposal alone should convince you.It is notable that this abomination thinks only one gender is to be held responsible for procreation. One wonders why he doesn't suggest "poor men" volunteer to have their privates cut off as well. That too would contribute to ending "generational poverty. "

I'd posted on aboard full of 'conservatives' for a couple of months. I learned they aren't conservatives but fascists.

I learned there really is a war on women. The seething hatred today's repugs have for women, gays and minorities is frightening. They are advocating forced sterilization.
