It's great! I love it! We need to move this where it will have more visibility.

Old Creak, I can't find any place on your website to buy your CDs. Could you please direct me?

I'm going to move it to Announcements. I think lots of people will see it there.

Now, as to my second question, where can one buy your CDs?

I am strictly amateur.  I don't make music for money, I make it for this.  I have two cd's and am working on my third.  I'm working on tweaking my website to allow downloads.  In the meantime, if you are comfortable PMing me you email address, I'll be happy to send you some mp3's.  Just let me know which ones you want.  I, of course, could send you the cd's, but I'd need an address.  For obvious reasons, I assume that's problematic.
I do love people liking my music, it REALLY makes an ole boy's day. bounce spliff

Wow, really? That's so nice of you. I'm going to send you a pm with a list of songs I've heard on your website. Then, into my iTunes and my regular rotation they go. thumbs up

It occurred to me that lyrics might be helpful smile

UNDER THE SHADE

Been walkin’ down this hot dusty road
My children’s future becoming my load
That’s when I wonder, “How can this be?’
That’s when some beautiful spirits invited me
Under the shade, the cool, cool shade
Under the shade of the Old Elm Tree
Now that’s where I go when I want to be me

We all walk our own dusty road
We all carry our own heavy load
That’s when we wonder “How can this be?”
But if we listen we can hear the spirits inviting you and me
Under the shade, the cool, cool shade
Under the shade of the Old Elm Tree
That’s where we can go when we want to be free

Nobody has the answers today
But everybody has something to say
That’s OK, that’s OK by me
Say it loud, but say it with serenity
That’s how we do it
Underneath the Old Elm Tree

Much appreciate that you posted the lyrics. It's lovely. I like it very much. There are some of us in deaf/hard of hearing community. Hawkeye and I both are hearing impaired.  smile

As some of you have picked-up on, I love to cut-up and have fun.  Its one of my primary coping tools, but this post is sincere and from the heart. Having my song named the official song of the Old Elm Tree is the coolest thing that has ever happened to me musically.  I am excited, honored, proud and humble, all at the same time.  I want to thank the beautiful spirits that invited me here, and all the beautiful spirits that make the Old Elm Tree what it is.  I look forward to being me and openly discussing the many challenges we all face in securing a future for the kids.
PEACE & LOVE TO YOU ALL,
The Old Creak
